Heartbroken

Tears stain the pillow
Endless hours
Are gone
To sleeping
And a sad soul
Looks for comfort

Reading what was
The source of comfort
For other lost ones
She finds little comfort

She cries out
To God
Begging for love
For human emotions
Begging to feel
His arms
Wrap around her tightly
Giving her comfort
In her tears
But arms of love,
Compassion,
And understanding
Never come
Leaving her even more alone

Hiding from reality
She sits in her world
Wallowing in her tears
A heartbroken soul
Waiting for hope
To come back to her
